This class teaches kids self defense while strengthening them and improving their endurence and flexibility. Kokashi Ryu is a combination of karate and jujitsu. The student will learn the strikes from karate and wrestling and joint locks from jujitsu.
The class begins with stretching and exercise. We cover the basic punches and kicks in each class. Then the class varies each time, some times we will do jujitsu, kata, self defense techniques or sparring drills.
The class is designed to be fun for the students while improving physical fitness and teaching them traditional martial arts.
